Registration and class cards
I would like to try a class before starting a session — is that possible?
Of course! Before every session we run several taster classes. These are your chance to come and discover pole and/or aerial hoop, and the studio itself. If you miss the taster sessions, you can still come and try a class during the first three weeks of the session.
When can I start a session?
We work in sessions of 10 classes spread over three to four months. New sessions begin in September, January and April.
How do I register for a taster class or a course?
All registration happens online through the Eversport app. Download the app and search for the studio of your choice — you will then see every class by studio, along with schedules and prices. You can pick the option that suits you best (a card of 5, 10 or 20 classes). Once paid, you can register for the various activities. You must register individually for each class you want to attend. For example, if you register for Monday at 6pm, you are not automatically registered for every Monday at 6pm — you need to book each slot individually.
Can I register partway through a session?
Unfortunately it is not possible to join a beginner group mid-session. We want to support you as well as we can, and that becomes difficult when there are large gaps in level within a group. So for better guidance, beginners cannot join a group once a session has started. For other levels it is possible — the best thing is to contact us by email.
How long does a session last?
Sessions run for 10 classes, spread over three to four months.
How many classes a week should I take?
It depends entirely on your level and your sporting background! If you are a beginner, one class a week is enough at first, because your body and your skin need time to get used to this new effort — but you can work on flexibility and strength alongside your pole or hoop class.
I cannot attend a class I registered for. What should I do?
If something comes up, you can cancel and recover your class as long as you cancel at least 24 hours before it starts. To do so, open the Eversport app, go to the "my bookings" tab and click "unregister from the activity". If the class is not cancelled at least 24 hours beforehand, it is deducted from your card as though you had attended.
Can I be refunded if I cannot attend a class I registered for?
If the class is cancelled at least 24 hours before it starts, the class is credited back to your card. In the event of injury or long-term illness, the card’s validity date can be extended depending on the circumstances, on presentation of a medical certificate.
Can I take classes at several studios with the same card?
Yes! Every card is valid at all three studios (Mérode, Thieffry and Ixelles).
Do I need to register for the same time every week?
For better guidance from your teacher and a stronger sense of group, we recommend coming regularly to the same slots. If your schedule does not allow it, you are very welcome to come on different days and at different times each week.
How classes work
Are there any prerequisites for starting pole dance or aerial hoop?
No! It is true that the videos and photos you see can look impressive, but we learn everything together from the very beginning, at your own pace. You do not need strength to start, nor flexibility — just the wish to try!
What should I wear for a pole dance or aerial hoop class?
For pole dance you need skin in contact with the bar in order to grip it, so we recommend short shorts and a t-shirt. To avoid slipping, do not moisturise your skin before class, and remember to take off rings and bracelets as they damage the bars. For aerial hoop, leggings and a t-shirt work well.
What language are classes taught in?
Most classes are taught in French. Silvia and Mary teach in English (you can set a filter in the Eversport app to see their classes directly). The other teachers teach in French but can adapt and explain in English if you need it.
Can I join a class that has already started if I am late?
If the warm-up is already well under way when you arrive, your teacher may refuse you access to the class for your own safety. The warm-up genuinely matters for reducing the risk of injury; it is an integral part of the class and cannot be skipped.
